A man with low vision contacted the INDATA Loan Library looking for a magnification device that could be positioned at a 45-degree angle for reading music. He worked as a professor and musician, but in recent years has struggled to read printed materials. He was able to borrow several video magnifiers including the Ruby, Pebble, and Amigo devices and, after working with the devices for a few weeks, found the Amigo best fit his need. Ironically, an Amigo Handheld magnifier had recently been donated to the INDATA reuse program and was available for redistribution. The man is extremely happy to read music again.
